We’re delighted that you’re considering our Sixth Form for the next stage of your education. Whether you're continuing from Year 11 at Collingwood or joining us from another school, our admissions process is designed to be clear, supportive, and straightforward.

Application timeline

Applications for Sixth Form places open each year in September and close in November. During this time, we encourage all interested students to explore our course options, attend open events, and speak with our staff to help inform their choices.

Eligibility and entry criteria

To apply, students must meet the entry requirements for their chosen courses. These are designed to ensure you are well-prepared for the demands of Sixth Form study and can make strong progress in your subjects. The application process

To apply, you’ll need to complete a straightforward online application form, which will be available here on our website during the application window. This allows you to:

• Select your preferred subjects
• Tell us about your interests and ambitions
• Highlight any support you may need

Once your application has been submitted, our admissions team will carefully review it. If you meet the entry criteria, you will be invited to attend an interview with a senior member of staff in January or February to finalise your subject choices and discuss your next steps. Most applicants will receive a decision by late February.
